How Much Does It Cost to Remove Multiple Trees?

Multiple trees are assessed together based on their combined size, access, waste, equipment and working time. Completing several trees during one visit can sometimes be more efficient because the team and machinery are already on site, but every job still requires an individual assessment.

Why quotations differ

Tree work is priced around the method and resources needed, not a simple height list. Crew time, access, rigging, machinery, parking, waste volume and the tree’s condition all influence the work. Two trees that look similar in photographs can require very different plans when one stands over a building or has a long carrying route.

  • List each tree and the intended work so quotations cover the same scope.
  • Shared setup can help, but waste volume and carrying distance still matter.
  • Specify which stumps, logs and chippings should remain or be removed.

Getting a useful fixed quotation

Send clear photographs of the whole tree, its base, surroundings and access from the road. Describe the result you want and state whether timber, chip and the stump should remain. A site visit may still be required. Compare written scopes as well as totals, because a lower figure may exclude waste, machinery or finishing work.

How James David Forestry Ltd can help

James David Forestry Ltd works across Liverpool, Merseyside, Wirral, Ormskirk and Lancashire. We assess the actual tree, access and surroundings before recommending work. Clear photographs can be useful for initial guidance, but some questions need a site visit and we will not diagnose a dangerous or diseased tree from website information alone.
